Star Fox designer Takaya Imamura has given the Switch 2 game's redesigned characters a thumbs up after mixed reception from fans.

The rumors about a new God of War game proved to be true during Sony's latest State of Play event. That's why the reveal of God of War Laufey wasn't unexpected. What was a surprise was its cubic, talking, gelatin-like companion character, Phranque (as voiced by The Boys' Jack Quaid), is the character who turned out to be the breakout star of State of Play. Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic won't be another bloated single-player game that takes over half a decade to develop, claims game director Casey Hudson.

Star Fox on Switch 2 is shaping up to be a significantly expanded and surprisingly cinematic retelling of the Lylat Wars, thanks to an overhauled script that’s brought to life by some of the strongest voice acting and cutscene direction I’ve ever seen in a Nintendo game.

Casey Hudson, the gaming industry veteran who is leading the team making Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, has commented on AI, saying he finds it to be "creatively soulless."He said this in an interview with Bloomberg, adding, "It's hard to imagine where it's actually helpful in the process.
