The Long August Longing

The surprise return of Ted Lasso is definitely the biggest premiere on Apple TV this August, but we’re also going to get some decent variety from the quality-over-quantity service. There’s an adorable animated series for the kids, a new sports doc, and, of course, plenty of sci-fi. Disney+ is returning to form with a stacked lineup for August. There’s quite literally something for everyone, from Star Wars and X-Men to Pokemon to Disney Princesses. For some reason, there’s even some League of Legends.

Another batch of Xbox Game Pass titles are on their way out at the end of the month, and it looks like the service will be losing some cool, cute, and critically acclaimed games. Listed on the "Leaving Soon" tab on the Xbox mobile app, the list includes the following five games exiting the subscription service on August 31: Another Crab's Treasure, I Am Your Beast, Neon Abyss, One Lonely Outpost, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition.
