In visual style resembles POSTAL, Crimsonland, GTA2. So it's oldschool but seasoned with modern mechanics and deep religious and psychological plot. The game is hardcore, each opponent can pose a fatal threat and gives rise to a healthy sense of rivalry. True Confession is distinguished by its down-to-earthness, the game does not have automatic health regeneration and superpowers, an important distinctive mechanic of the game is "anger".
