Capcom Unfazed By Physical Games Dying Off
One of the biggest talking points in gaming lately has been around Sony's decision to end support for physical game discs in 2028. It's prompted concerns about game preservation, along with people generally being upset about owning physical media. Now, publisher Capcom has shared its thoughts, with management saying the shrinking physical game market is not expected to have much of an impact because the company sells mostly digital games.
