The wanted system in GTA 6 has been totally overhauled to give the police even more tools to hunt you, as well as new methods for players to evade being busted.

Rockstar's GTA games had six-star wanted levels until GTA 5 dropped it down to five, and now Rockstar is returning to its roots by going back to six with GTA 6. How fitting. This was confirmed in the GTA 6 Netflix gameplay video today. We don't know exactly what Jason and Lucia will need to do to achieve a six-star wanted level, but it will no doubt be the worst of the worst crimes. A logo showed in the GTA 6 trailer also suggests there will be icons for specific crimes that players commit.
