Halo: Campaign Evolved is set to receive its first major patch next week, one that will give players more control over the game's visuals as well as make improvements to Jackals and Sgt. Johnson. Halo: Campaign Evolved speaks to the series' timelessness and adds a decent set of new missions, but it's a mostly a lean retread that's clearly a test run for its future with Unreal Engine.

A neat, but fundamentally flawed remake that doesn't always understand the appeal of Halo.
