The free-to-play military FPS World War 3 is going offline. Developer New Generation Games has announced that "after careful consideration," the studio will end support for the game and close the servers very soon. The multiplayer servers will be taken offline on August 3, 2026, after which the game will not be playable. "This was not an easy decision. As revealed at Disney's D23 event this weekend, Fortnite is integrating with the Smuggler's Run ride at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. For anyone just catching up, Smugglers Run is an interactive motion simulator attraction that has six people piling into the Millennium Falcon as they work together to collect crates for the fan-favorite pirate, Hondo.
