Activision and Treyarch are rereleasing COD: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 in a pair of new ports for PlayStation consoles in July

It would seem as though Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 may be coming to modern platforms.

Call of Duty: Black Ops fans are growing frustrated by players who refuse to vote for different maps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is nearing 400,000 copies sold on Steam already, and that's well ahead of where last year's Black Ops 7 stood at launch on Valve's platform. This is according to Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics, who added that pre-sales on Steam alone work out to around $21 million in revenue. The ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and Black Ops 2 (2012) are available now. The ports, which were confirmed in June, are developed by Iron Galaxy in conjunction with Activision. As announced previously, these are not remasters or remakes--if you enjoyed the games in their original states, that's what you're getting here.
