Summary
เรื่องย่อ
A remaster of God of War, an action-adventure hack-and-slash video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). Loosely inspired by Greek mythology, it unfolds in ancient Greece with vengeance as its central theme. The player takes on the role of Kratos, the protagonist, a Spartan warrior devoted to the Olympian gods. Tasked by the goddess Athena, Kratos is assigned to eliminate Ares, the God of War and Kratos' former mentor. Ares had deceitfully manipulated Kratos into killing his wife and daughter. As Ares attacks Athens fueled by hatred for Athena, Kratos embarks on a quest to locate Pandora's Box, the sole object capable of permanently stopping the vengeful god. The remaster features full HD resolution complete with 2X anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second.

The Internet Reacts to God of War Laufey
Sony’s big State of Play announcement was God of War Laufey, the next game in Sony Santa Monica’s God of War franchise due out exclusively for PlayStation 5. While the fact the game would focus on Faye as opposed to Kratos had leaked months before the showcase, it’s fair to say Sony’s 20 minute gameplay reveal sparked a vociferous reaction across the internet.

God Of War’s Cube Was The Star Of State Of Play
The rumors about a new God of War game proved to be true during Sony's latest State of Play event. That's why the reveal of God of War Laufey wasn't unexpected. What was a surprise was its cubic, talking, gelatin-like companion character, Phranque (as voiced by The Boys' Jack Quaid), is the character who turned out to be the breakout star of State of Play. New God Of War Game Revealed At State Of Play
As rumored, today's State of Play broadcast included the official announcement of a new God of War game. This game does not star Kratos, however. Faye looks to be the lead character in the newly announced God of War game. Santa Monica is also working on a remake of the original God of War trilogy. A live-action TV adaptation is also in the works with Amazon Prime Video, with production on the series now underway. A live-service God of War game, however, was reportedly canceled in 2025..
