There are plenty of great Assassin's Creed protagonists, but Black Flag's Edward Kenway is the very best because he doesn't care for any of the lore.

Ubisoft may be revisiting Assassin's Creed's glory days with Black Flag Resynced, but it's Netflix's Ancient Rome-set Assassin's Creed series that's the more interesting proposition. I just wish it was a video game instead of a TV show.
